The collection includes 105 objects that are divided into two groups:

Group 1: "GIFTS OF DOMESTIC ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS GAVE TOPRESIDENT TON DUC THANG"

     The collection consists of 43 objects that are given to Uncle Ton by domestic organizations and individuals to express their love and gratitude to the thrift, honesty and righteousness leader and devoted the whole life for serving his Fatherland and people.

     After receiving the gifts, Uncle Ton often gave them back to his comrades, friends or handed over to the Presidential Office to store.

ZIPPO

Unit F7 (the Southeast Liberation Army) gave Uncle Ton, 1968.

 

AN ASHTRAY

Unit F7 (the Southeast Liberation Army) gave Uncle Ton, 1968.

An ashtray was made from the wreck of a plane conveying Lieutenant General K.Ware (Chief Master 1 of the US forces)

shot down on September 13, 1968 at Loc Ninh, Tay Ninh.

 

THE  JACKET

Comrade Le Duc Tho - Special Advisor of the Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam at the Paris

Conference-used during the time participating in the Conference (1968 - 1972) and gave to Uncle Ton as a souvenir in 1973.

 

MAP CON DAO

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoan (prisoner with Uncle Ton in Con Dao)

drew and gave to Uncle Ton on August 20, 1970.

 

CLOTH BAG

Mrs. Luong Thi Ty (ethnic Tay) gave to Uncle Ton at the Lien-Viet Fatherland

Front Congress in Chiem Hoa, Tuyen Quang on March, 1951.

 

ROCK FLOWER

 Truong Sa Navy Soldiers gave to Uncle Ton on February 26, 1976.

 

Group 2."GIFTS OF OVERSEAS ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS GAVE TO PRESIDENT TON DUC THANG".

     With 62 objects are gifts of organizations and individuals giving to President Ton Duc Thang to express the affection, admiration and respect for him and tell about the solidarity, friendship and beautiful relationship between Vietnam and peoples of the world.

Prince Souphanouvong - Chairman of the Central Committee of

the Lao Patriotic Front gave to Uncle Ton on the occasion visiting to Vietnam,

May 1971.

 

RADIO

Delegate of Communist Party of the Soviet gave to Uncle Ton on the occasion visiting Vietnam

to attend 50^th anniversary of October Revolution of Russia (1917-1967).

CIGAR BOX

President of the Republic of Cuba, Phidel Castro gave to President Ton Duc Thang in 1973.

 

AO DAI

National Assembly of the People's Republic of Mongolia gave to Uncle Ton on the occasion He came to Mongolia, July 1958.

 

ALARM CLOCK

Comrade Chu An Lai - Chairman of the State Council of the People's Republic of China gave to President Ton Duc Thang in 1971.
